The Facilities Available for Reservation

The city has a limited number of reservable parks for reservations. The parks that are reservable has the  necessary amenities/services (i.e., shelters, lighting, utilities, and restrooms), for example The Sport Complex on Ward Ave. has play fields that offers lighting, Walnut Grove gym has light with indoor restrooms, & Garza Park with field lights and restroom on the premises. All shelters in town are first come, first serve basis.

The Reservation Process

  1. Contact Recreation & Community Services Department for assistance with park reservations inquiry or for additional questions at (209) 895-8080.
  2. Return the completed application  to the Recreation & Community Services Department for review and approved. Application must be submitted two (2) weeks before the event date. 
  3. Facility reservation requires Certificate of Liability insurance in the amount required with applicable Additional Endorsement, naming the City of Patterson added as "Additional Insured" after the application has been approved.
  4. Once the application is reviewed, and all necessary insurance requirements are satisfied, an approved permit will be issued.

Special events which require Street Closure Approval (City Council Approval), City Co-Sponsored or City Fundraisers must be submitted sixty (60) days before the event date to Recreation & Community Services Department
